This is a good step-by-step post on how to write a readable post! ;) i must admit that I haven't done a call to action ending text in many if my posts, during the years (I started in 2002), but I will do it more in the future...

If you've got something to promote, then it's definitely worth including a CTA. If you syndicate your blog, however, you might have to check the T&Cs of other sites first when including self-promotional links.
