Great post on the importance of keyword trends, Dan. And a good reminder for any small business owner who markets online (I guess that's just about all of them now) how very important those trends can be. I also think it's important to note that SEO now must go a bit beyond the world of Google algorithms into the world of social media where tools like Topsy can be very valuable in testing trends (in this case on Twitter.) Any other tool recommendations for social media trend measurement?
