Thanks Elaine, the Social Business Model(SMB)is still developing and growing, it will take business more time to grow comfortable with it. The age profile of the management in a company can dictate the adoption of SBM. The fear of change and the lack of knowledge around RoI is still holding companies back. The model has now being proven but not enough companies are aware of this.

I am so pleased the term social business is now used extensively - it's such an important aspect of all business, and can help remove the stigmas around formal business (inc that fear you mention)
