Very true -- authenticity is really important and nothing really beats the feeling of being involved with a true community. Indeed it is a waste of time and effort talking to bots. I once attended a CISCO seminar, and yes they've been selling the idea that today -- we are no longer a network of computers, BUT a network of people. It is indeed very true in all aspects of social media as one of our online marketing efforts.
