Ben: That is a good point. How much "space" and "resources" will this plugin demand? I remember how the Discuss comment plugin had issues loading a website now and then. Or maybe it was my old laptop that had issues.

Novashare is really lightweight, which is one of the reasons why I like it. The server space it uses is negligible, and in terms of resources, it adds a JS file and CSS file to the front end (16kb total). That should only add a few milliseconds to your site's load time.

Ben: I have not heard about NovaShare before. How common is to use the share feature nowadays, as you could easily share blog posts on a smartphone?

It's not used as much as it used to be, but it still helps. Seeing these familiar icons can make the site feel more trustworthy, and it may remind people to share, even if they don't use the buttons to do it.
