I had the "shiny ball" syndrome for quite a few years after I discovered the world of online marketing. It still sometimes pains me to think of all of the thousands of dollars I've wasted on "shiny balls".
However, I can say that I'm grateful that I had the experience. Not every "shiny ball" I bought was worthless, although most of them were. I did learn quite a bit from the products I bought, such as what NOT to do. I've also learned neat pieces of useful info that I still carry with me today.
You've given some concise and effective tips for avoiding the syndrome. I hope that those who come across this piece who need the advice heed your tips.
This is my first time visiting your blog and I'm loving what I've read and seen so far. I'll be sure to share this piece with my social circle. I'll also comment and share it on BizSugar.
Keep the great content coming and I look forward to connecting more with you soon. :)
