Yea, and on the social media platform thing, advice from an online marketing friend or Website cannot take the place of honest to goodness testing to determine which platforms are most effective for your site. Not all content is created equally and it is a fact that social media platforms all have their own distinct communities. So while Twitter might not bring much traffic to your "beers of the world" site, your StumbleUpon profile might...or vice versa. The only way to know is to test each over time and see what works.
