I love WordPress and I'll continue to use it. Looking through the list reminded me I actually have a tumblr account! I hardly ever use it. IM Creator also looks interesting. And SilverStripe.

Squarespace should definitively be included in a list of WordPress alternatives.

I haven’t heard about IM Creator, SilverStripe and GetHifFi.

I like Ghost’s approach to get rid off the clunkiness! The best things with WordPress are all the possibilities with plug-ins, the worst thing with WordPress is the risk of not compatible plug-ins that crashes or risk for attacks in different forms.

I am using Blogger and Tumblr. These tools have been around for a long time and will always be the safe bet if you want to start out in an easy way.

There are so many other Wordpress alternatives out there but, I don't think there is any other one that can be compared to Wordpress. Thanks for sharing this with the bizsugar community.

I think that Squarespace could easily be compared with Wordpress, if you compare a premium Wordpress template with Squarespace. Squarespace is not free, it is a premium service.
