Hi Mike,

This is really a good post for all bloggers to read.

How nice it would have been if I saw/read this a few years back! :-)

I started my blogging journey by using third-party platforms like Typepad, Blogger and Google's Knol etc.

On a later stage after the closing of Knol platform, we shifted all our resources to WordPress and thus on a later stage I owned my current domain. That is why I said how nice it would have been if I read this few years before.

After getting the own domain the situation entirely changed and things are moving fast along with some monetary benefits.

I recommend this post to my new friends who are on the initial stage of their blogging.

Thanks for writing and presenting such an easy to understand post on blogging.
