hello ana,

I don't think we should not be hasty to discredit the people who make our high traffic, because after all, they are the ones who tell us if they appreciate or not our work. Even if they won't buy the products we offer, they give us the good or bad feedback that we need to make our good work GREAT!

You set such a smooth tone in conversation. As I sit and observe in the cafe I find assurance in your delivery and methodology. I do remember the great sales numbers that initially accompanied the "pet rock". Today's analytic's would show great conversion rates, but the product could not sustain. You have a wonderful product, in the sense of build it they will come. Traffic generation is great, but you prove quality of product is better!

Knowing where your blog traffic is coming from and setting goals are vital. But, bloggers should keep in mind that depending on the overall goals of the site, the traffic goals will be different. For some, sales conversion is important, others need consistant search traffic, still others may need consistant traffic from very specific keywords. It really depends on the purpose of the site.
