A blog won’t help your business. Just like that StairMaster gathering dust in your basement won’t make you thin. Or a hammer won’t help you build those shelves if you don’t pick it up.

Tricky title, but it got me to read. I liked how you clarified between having a blog and actively blogging. Actively blogging definitely can help your business. I agree with Shawn as well, if you can't maintain it yourself, others are out there (including us) to do it for you. Fantastic post.

Really well said, because its not enough to just have a blog for developing business. You need to actively update you blog if you really want to develop your business or else you can make profits.

What a great post to share, Ajay...with an eye-catching title. No, a blog won't help you if you don't use it. If you post to it regularly, on the other hand, you can increase your business considerably. If you don't have time to maintain a blog yourself, find someone else to do it. My experience has been that those who can't see the value in blogs really aren't using them.
