So many bloggers with so many blogs and they just can’t think of anything to write (or so it would appear). The problem with this, as I see it, is that so many people who have nothing to say, want to speak.

Inspirational writing is not only better for the reader, but also much more efficient for the writer. When I'm not "feeling it," a simple post can take 3x as much time to write. That's a waste of my time.

I think one question your post raises is how to get inspired when a writer has time sensitive needs? I know you promote a less-structured publishing model, but sometimes a writer just needs to get some new content out the door.

Any advice?

Great post and so true. I hate when I can't think of something to write but feel pressure if it's been a while since I posted anything. Then it all comes at once - like buses :) And often either late at night or when I'm driving so have to get notes out of my head very quickly - using my iPhone recorder when driving of course. Thanks for sharing :)
