If bloggers aren't receiving enough comments, they should first ask themselves whether they've created a community. Do they have regularly returning readers? Do they have readers who spend a significant amount of time on their site or readers who leave almost as soon as they've arrived? Learning how to build that community of dedicated readers who will continue to visit your site again and again, is the key to a successful blog. Commenting is only one by-product.
