Great post about DIY public relations from George Schildge, Matrix Marketing Group. I think public relations still remains pretty badly misunderstood by many entrepreneurs and small business owners, mainly because they have difficulty seeing their business or brand through the eye of a reporter, the mainstream media or the public in general.
