Hi Stephen,

Some of that basic information -- whether your blog was created to boost your personal or business brand -- is so important to include. Great content is critical, certainly. But not letting people know who is responsible for that content or how to get in touch with you is unforgivable these days. And it kind of defeats the purpose anyway when your whole goal is to attract clients, customers and partners who want to do business with you.

Yes, I agree. When you've worked with WordPress or blogged for a long time, it's easy to forget how confusing it is for the newbie, especially when it comes to setting up 'simple' stuff like contact forms and Analytics.
