I've taken fb comments off my blog a long time ago. I don't think I'll ever put the back, although they were great for bringing in more traffic.

Comparing the G+ commenting system and Facebook commenting system, I will definitely pic the Facebook commenting system because of the advantages it has over G+ comment box :). But comparing all, i will still use and never give up my native comment box :)

Does it slows down the blog? I have seen some blogs gets slower when we try something third party tools.

The code i provided those not slow down blogger blogs. So i'd say that, it is completely safe to blogger platforms

In this case, Facebook was the first social media that creates and generates more accounts today than Google plus which was I think created around the year 2011. So, I think using Facebook comment box in your blog has more impact due to its many Facebook users.

Hey mate!

Excellent write up, I only have one question. Does that affect your site speed? I know 'pulling' of data might affect WordPress sites but how about Bloggers?

Anyway, nice write up and might add it to my Blogspot :)

Hello to you too :)

I tested it on my blogger blog and it did not affect the speed. It only use little of your resource because it is not a plugin or a widget. So my opinion, hand coding is the best... :)
