The cloud business solution provided by Amazon, Elastic Compute Cloud [better known as EC2], has been around for more than 3 years. Amazon Web Services [AWS], the cloud computing platform of Amazon, brought EC2 to the public, in order to allow them virtual computers on which they can run their own applications.
