I have received a new batch of reading material. I am thinking of signing up for an account on Audible.com. I still like to read real books, but it could be enjoyable to start to "read" some books in audio format in the future. Do you listen to books?

Yoni,

I like the real deal too, the smell of an antique book, turning the pages, making notes in the margin, highlighting things, etc. The thing is that the e-book reader and the iPad are getting there in the experience, plus some additional features like hyperlinks, interactive stuff, etc. It is also an economical thing regarding space and money. It is great to have several pieces of your favorite reading material in one place, instead of carrying around plenty of books. I haven't checked the price comparison, but I think you could save money by reading on e-book reader or listening to audio books.

Martin,

Except a home PC of course...I still haven't found a way to get around that.

Martin,

I myself could never imagine reading a book on Kindle or an audio book. Nothing compares to the smell of a new book, turning those pages and getting lost in the words. Then again, I have no cell phone, laptop or any other hi-tech device. I shun technology in all of its forms.

Yoni
