The online freelance community Elance has introduced "The New Way to Work" contest and the passing of Labor Day here in the U.S. seems the perfect time to mention it. In fact, it seems only fitting to thank John Jantsch of Duct Taping Marketing who first drew my attention to this cool contest with a post on his blog also found here on bizSugar entitled "What Does Labor Day Mean Today?" back on Sept. 3. I'm hoping this second mention with a link right to the Elance blog and the contest information will help drum up a few more entrants. With giant corporations downsizing, or in some cases folding completely, it may be a good time to reevaluate what work will mean in the future and how small business and entrepreneurs will figure into this new world.
