Managing fundraising efforts is not quite a scope of action to be executed manually, particularly within a larger nonprofit where donations arrive in all shapes and sizes. Sooner or later, all nonprofits and charities arrive to the same conclusion: organizing and reporting their data the old-fashioned way has little to no impact on their cause. Rings true, doesn’t it? With a short and foremost local list of donors, a small organization can rest comfortably in its state of technological lethargy, and regret rarely (or never) having bundled index data on an old and dusty computer. On the downside, the novelty of old good methods does eventually fade, and fades once it is too late to retrieve a database that stored, regrettably, the A-to-Zs of a wonderfully productive organization. Needless to say, it is close to impossible to manage causes and beneficiaries without mobile technology nowadays.
