Hi Naomi,

Interesting look at Amazon selling. As far as relying on Amazon only, I suspect it may be the ease of starting with a ready-made ecommerce environment instead of having to set up your own that attracts many small business owners. Is launching with Amazon at first just to get your feet wet in the world of online selling a good strategy, or is the process of setting up your own ecommerce site easier than most people think?

Hi Heather, I think it's a good way to get your feet wet. I don't recommend (or personally like) the idea of anyone setting up their whole business platform within a bubble that they have no control over.

Get your feet wet, see how it feels and then branch out using what you've learnt. I like the idea of working towards Amazon being like an App that you plug into your own business. Rather than the entire infostructure.
