Good points, Frank.

In retail, I always assume the salesperson knows the products. That means, in a music store chock-full of commissioned salespeople, when I ask:

"Does it include a compressor or limiter?", and they say:

"I don't know", I'm sure that translates to:

"No it doesn't, but I'd appreciate if you'd suspend belief till after you get it home and see that it doesn't!"
