This is a great, informative post. I especially like your tip about segmenting your leads before you even generate them. It's very wise to do this because of tracking purposes and keeping track of each traffic source conversion rates. I do this a bit now, but I admit I need to get better at it. I'm currently using an awesome software call Adtrackz Gold to track my lead and traffic sources and it's working great for me. You can also use something like Hypertracker to track your traffic as well.
