Deals should not be won at the presentation stage. Deals should be won before you ever present your solution. In order to win deals, you cannot collect the prerequisites to a deal late in the sales cycle.

Not just in sales; in life. Think about those fancy international summits where the leaders smile for the cameras. No deal comes out of those that hasn't been painstakingly negotiated by legions of bureaucrats, politicians and business leaders.
