Smartphones, tablets, music, pens and paper--all these might be items you'd expect an entrepreneur to carry while traveling. But how about a biosensor to track exercise, sleep and heart rate, something "orange," a weight vest, or how about a device designed to alter the users mood? They're all part of a post Jason Fell of Entrepreneur.com put together based on more than 50 essays published recently by leading entrepreneurs on LinkedIn. Tell us which items you find the most interesting.

In my case, it would be anything (or everything) the color green, but I can definitely understand the sentiment here. Controlling your environment while traveling is sometimes a lot easier than most people think. Sometimes something as simple as a reassuring color will do.

Maybe this isn't a "weird" enough suggestion, but I would add a good pair of walking shoes/sneakers and maybe and a track suit or pair of sweat pants. Almost anywhere you travel, there's an opportunity for a brisk walk or run, guaranteed to not only improve health with a hectic lifestyle but also to improve state of mind. A dip in the pool? Sure, but nothing clears the head like a brisk walk or run in the fresh air or a walk or run on a treadmill at a local gym or one in your hotel when on the road will do wonders for focus.

Love Esther Dyson's idea here of being in the pool everyday, even when she's on the road. From experience, I can say swimming offers an awesome opportunity to think and reflect. I get to the pool every chance I get. Sometimes it's more challenging than others. But I can certainly understand how this would offer an opportunity to be reflective and to shut out the world.

Ha! Ha! My favorite here is Dream Weaver. No, we're not talking about the Web design program here. It's a gadget from holistic practitioner Deepak Chopra which uses light and sound to alter state of consciousness. Absolutely. Who would want to leave home without that?
