I'm a big believer in being responsible for your own life and the results you get from it, but I also know that sometimes things happen in business that are hard to control. A mistake made years earlier when you were first starting your business can catch up and bite you in the rear. Maybe it was a leasing mistake, maybe you borrowed too much (or too little) and you weren't able to correct course in time. What about the economy?
