Ask people what they do to stay productive and you'll get a variety of answers. In this article some very productive people were asked what they did to maximize their productivity. See if any of their answers will work for you.

These are great ideas and I must look at your ROWE concept. I work from home most of the week and have to be very focussed a lot of the time. I plan my week ahead and then adapt daily - as you mentioned. I also love my handwritten list so that I can cross off tasks as they are done - old fashioned but it works for me. Dan, Welcome to BizSugar! Most of these tips on increasing productivity sound appealing to me. The problem arises when you don't have control over your environment, i.e. your managers are more concerned with your process rather than your end result. This throws a monkey wrench into the mix. Having the authority to control your own process is key. But of course, it's up to us to seek out those opportunities that give us greater control of our own lives.

Great post, and can't wait for more!
