Ivan: It is good to know that Singapore is going in the right direction. Would you say that it is comparable with Hong Kong before 1997?

Ivan: I tend to be in agreement with you. But in the case of Singapore, how much do they protect the rights of the individual? What do you think about India, if they get rid of the caste society and the political mess?

Singapore is a pretty liberal and politically stable country that strongly protects individual rights. I don't know much about India, though...

Martin,

US is still the cornerstone, but the trend is shifting, IMO - I'd say the best place would be in Asian regions :) I know that more and more US entrepreneurs are moving their business HQ to Singapore - and quite possibly, other Asian regions, too.

Ivan: Yes, I think it is time to raise children to become future entrepreneurs. They could start out with a lemonade stand (if they are allowed to do that in the future, due to all the red tape...). It is important that they learn the foundation of entrepreneurship, i.e., a free mind and a free market (laissez-faire capitalism).
