Mark Long: You have written a hard hitting post. It is time to get things done! ;) That is why I am developing my own personal productivity method called F.I.X IT! (form - information - eXecute - information technology!).

On point 1: I have studied Dr. Edwin A. Locke's goal-setting theory and have set up goals that are for my life.

On point 2: Have you used Eisenhower's matrix in order to execute goals?

On point 3: I am struggling with constant interruptions and I have to become better at saying NO! ;)

On point 4: Thanks for the "Swiss cheese" technique. I know that I have problem with procrastination now and then and the "slight edge" approach could help me to master my time in the long run.

I will print out your post and put it on my bulletin board as a daily reminder! :)

This post is like a slap on my face. I have been saying to myself that there isn't enough time to do the things to do but in reality, there is. I'm just wasting most of my time not doing the things that I want to do.
