Yeah. Gotta agree with you on Zementa. Firefox drops it right there into the post area. So since plugins slow your blog down, no need to do that for sure.

Very useful and great for everyone who use WordPress CMS in their blogs or websites! Thanks for introducing us with these plugins!

Great negative energy and I agree with all those. It's funny how some plugins are so hot for a year or so until everyone suddenly grows cold to it and you ask yourself why did I think ever that plugin was so cool?

I wholeheartedly agree on the Facebook comments. How annoying those are!

Hi Janet. I was on a blog yesterday that only had Facebook comments!! I need to pull them to the side and have a little talk *lol*

Very revealing post. I only use one of those "old school" WP plugins (Askimet)... thanks for letting me know there's something better I should look into!

GASP is an excellent alternative to Akismet.

Hi Ileane.

Not being a blogger myself, I can't comment on the plug-ins, but there is a caveat with the share bar. When it's used properly, everything's happy, but many times it obscures the text - and I'm quite sure this isn't the author's intent. If you use the share bar, please make sure that it works on all browsers, and at least up to 150% magnification (for old people like me). What good is it to put all that work into the article if the text is obscured?

Duncan, it seems that the theme has more control over this than the plugin. But that's an excellent point. Thanks!
