A new YouTube Layout is on the verge of being rolled out. Over the last year there have been some major changes but this one seems to be a real game changer in my opinion. YouTube is allowing video creators more control over the features and content that is displayed....

Jose: Could they combat the issue if they would introduce a commenting feature including a login access, e.g., Google+ profile?

Perhaps but I think they will need to weigh this up against putting people off commenting and this means lower engagement for channels. I know they are trying to get people to opt-in to combining their YT and G+ accounts for older accounts while newer ones automatically create a G+ account when a YT one is opened, if that makes sense.

I did notice this new layout when I check out EpicMealTime ( I am fan :) ) but I didn't know that is beta version. This new YouTube layout looks great! Visibility is much better!

I'm certain there will be criticisms of the new changes but also some new possibilities, especially for business users. Thanks for sharing this preview with the BizSugar community. It's definitely an important consideration for anyone using video for marketing or communications.

Jose Jimenez: Thanks for the tour of the new layout of YouTube. Do you know if the folks at YouTube have addressed the issued with commenting trolls?

Hi Martin, I'm not sure this has been addressed and for me this is a real issue with YT. I'm scared to let my kids use YT for this very reason. This may be more to do with channel owners but there are some initiatives to combat this such as voting down and making comments disappear.
