I have seen several new blogs that would improve the general design very much, if they did something about their blog banner. If a blog banner looks blend and a bit tacky, it could be hard to rely on the content.
Have you saved the old versions of your blog banners?

Do you think that this kind of service will improve the quality level of the visual marketing created by small business owners in general?

I haven't tested Canva, but there is a post on Small Business Trends which includes a video demonstration. Take a look! I think it will make some aspects of design more accessible to small businesses with very limited resources.

Could you give examples of some premium elements that you could buy?

Updating my blog banners has gone rather well. I've updated it across all of my social media platforms as well. I try to do updates to my branding graphics and materials about once per year to keep it fresh. I'm loving the new look and my readers seem to as well. :)

Premium elements all cost a dollar and include everything from clouds (such as in the example image from the article) to flags, tech looking backgrounds and everything in between. The best way to look at the premium elements is to visit Canva and look through or search the image catalogue.

We've all heard the buzz, including here on BizSugar. I think some of the premium elements discussed are just generally design elements and images that you might use in your design but that are part of a premium collection (like photos on Shutterstock, for example)
