FourSquare is a great tool for brick-and-mortar businesses. What if FourSquare allowed users to Check-In at online retailers like Amazon.com or Ebay.com?

Ryan, have you checked out Blippy, which is something like Twitter + Foursquare for business. I think the idea of Foursquare is really to get people out to locations where they can socialize and meet new people. This is why checking in using our computers are not encouraged. If they allow checking in on websites or e-commerce stores like what's pointed out in the article, the service will soon be bloated with spam and have its original purpose defeated because we simply visit too many websites in a day.
