Tristan, this led me straight to your blog and I was instantly hooked. I knew these principles in theory - I built nearly 4K followers on twitter over a short time just by joining discussions and commenting to everyone. It's the same principle of reciprocity. People want to hear and be heard. It just never occurred to me to approach it as a necessary part of my business day. You made me think about building a blog in a new light. Thanks!
