Have you noticed on Facebook where a Business Page has liked their own post and thought that was a bit odd? Or maybe made a confusing comment on their post? It's because one of the page administrators meant to interact as themselves THE PERSON, but did so as THE PAGE. This is super easy to avoid!
Marketing quick tip – stop liking your own stuff on Facebook (or how to use your Page as you the person)

In my experience, using Facebook as you the person is relevant when you want to expose something from the page to your personal network. So you might want to like a post or share a post as you the person for example. I don't know how many times I've seen businesses like their own post :) This is especially true for pages that have a whole bunch of administrators.
You are right though that when you are administering the page, responding to comments, doing customer service and that type of thing, you absolutely want it to be as the page.
Hope that makes sense. Facebook has actually made the whole business of posting as your page or not simpler, so I will need to update the post.
Sorry for the delayed response here. I've neglected my profile a bit :)
Cheers!
