Good questions for the author Kevin to answer (comment on article & he can answer), but I would say there is absolutely nothing to stop your competition checking up on you using these tactics if they are savvy enough... so you may as well beat them to it & stay one step ahead of them!

Thanks for sharing. Wondered if you or Kevin had any thoughts about whether you need to worry about competitors doing this to you too. Are there any steps you can take to prevent a competitor from scoping you out in this same way? Is it something you even need to worry about?
