I totally agree with you. Social media is the best thing since sliced bread in my book. I've been solely focusing on driving traffic to my blog through mainly social media and other high leveraged outlets.
Social media is SO versatile and you can use it for anything from branding, traffic generation, and list building. I use social media for all 3 and it's been working wonderfully for me. Not to mention how fun it is to connect / build relationships with other people.
