Interesting piece, Cendrine. I've noticed that my mother is actually getting more into social media. She really wants a "smartphone" so she can share pics and stuff. I tell her there's no need for her to really have one but I guess if she wants it, then she'll get it. Don't know that she's ready for all the learning that's involved with it though. :)

I know exactly what you are saying. My grandmother is 82 and has asked me to open a Facebook account for her for at least two years. I keep telling her that it's useless, but she won't listen.

"I want to see what you guys post. It's so exciting to know exactly what you are doing."
