witter has taken a page from Facebook and introduced their new-look profile pages to the world yesterday.

The most visible change to the platform is the large header image that runs across the top of the page, similar to Facebook’s cover photo imagery for personal and company pages.

Another reason I enjoy twitter way more than Facebook. Much simpler layout yet still highlighting imagery.

Teepu: I like the new layout in a way, but it could be hard to get the text readable. I think I will stick with the old style for some time, with black text on white background. Would you say that Twitter has been influenced by Facebook's new profile photo / banner header?
