By now most entrepreneurs realize the importance of utilizing social media. Unforunately using social media well is easier said than done. Now Twitter has released a new set of tools called Dashboard that allows small business owners to make more of the platform and understand what techniques and content are working best for them.

Jon: Will Twitter's dashboard replace the need to check analytics in other external tools, e.g., Hootsuite?

I think it definitely has that potential to replace that need. I wouldn't be surprised if this starts to hurt platforms like Hootsuite and Buffer. Although the ability to manage multiple accounts (meaning Facebook and Twitter) under one roof is still attractive.
