Who's going to break through Google's strong walls? Facebook?

Over the years, Google's products have won praises and support from its users. Its products such as Gmail, Google Docs, Google Map and Google Analytics have truly improved our lives in many ways. However, this success was not welcomed by some and in fact, has been envied by Google's (many) rivals.

With Google getting stronger and better by the day, its competitors (notably Microsoft) are devising plans to take it down. If you have not been keeping yourself in the loop, here are the battles that Google is currently fighting:

If/when Google is taken down, it seems unlikely it will be by a competitor that provides exactly the same kind of service. Google outdistanced Yahoo! even though it was more of a search engine than a portal. Perhaps looking for the next great search engine is a mistake. Look for the next great idea instead.

Yes, I think that Facebook including FriendFeed and in alliance with Bing could be a real threat to Google. Google started out as a search engine, but nowadays it has so many different products and business areas to handle.
