I don't think that Google+ is a fad, it is more of a rad! ;) I don't think it is a FB "killer." I will both use FB and Google+ in the future. The beauty of Google+ is that it is integrated with other tools in a great way, e.g. Gmail, documents, calendar, etc.

It will take some time for me to get used to check out my Google+ profile and updates.
