Jennifer, nice post. I usually advise entrepreneurs to develop a budget for the first 2 years, calculating when they will be cash-positive, and then setting aside working capital that is 3 times that amount - to accommodate unforeseen events. You are right about the time necessary, you have to have the passion and funds to see the first 3 years through. Thanks for posting on BizSugar.
