I didn't know about services mentioned in the post, e.g., BustAName, Wordoid, Panabee. Good reminder to apply the S.C.R.A.T.C.H principle when you are coming up with a brand name.

Could a name be trademarked after you have used an expression or slogan for some time, e.g., on your your blog?

How do you go about to secure your brand name in different countries?
