Haha, it is so funny to think that you are a networking entrepreneur but you don't like networking. But people have different mindsets so for those who are networking entrepreneurs but do not like networking, just follow the rules on this post. You will never know when you will become successful.

And, yes, follow up is extremely important. It's funny because usually starting things up from scratch, that first approach, is the hard part. Follow up is the "easy" part, and it's the one that makes the most impact.
