Personally, I feel that while the idea offers a very compelling explanation to why free market capitalism has survived this long, it fails to address the fact that realistically, there are no true free markets. Thanks for your insights!

Capitalism can't work with altruism in place. Altruism is represented by collectivist ideas, e.g., national socialism, socialism, fascism, communism, etc. Recommended reading:
