This reminds me of family discussions about Captain Kirk-v-Captain Picard. Kirk is blasting at the 1st sign of a difficulty, Picard is conducting a board meeting - asking for opinions. We were all wondering why the enemy ship hadn't obliterated Picard half way through their session.
