Around 6 months ago I came up with an idea for a startup and almost immediately the idea became my obsession. In the back of my mind I knew that I needed to start writing things down but dreaded the idea of writing a business plan.

As someone who is currently writing a biz plan for a new startup, this is a timely post! I think the point about 'Having a well written business plan allowed me to easily explain my business idea to who ever with one email' is really on the money, particularly if the concept is somewhat complex. Thanks a lot for sharing, this was a great help - Niall
