Thanks especially for the link to Kwintessential.co.uk. I suspect cultural differences are something to consider before even tackling language and technology barriers so that you can figure out where -- if at all -- your business can fit in. Still, the opportunities seem massive and diverse. It's a mistake to think that international business in these expanding markets needs to be left to giant multinational firms.

I have a friend (a former roommate) who is now in China teaching English (among other subjects) to Freshmen. Within China more than India, greater emphasis will be on their own engineers being well-versed in English (as opposed to companies coming into China needing to know Chinese).
