The US border with Mexico frequently comes to the fore of political discussions, but what is often overlooked by Americans is the enormous business opportunity represented by Mexico. As the rancor of public policy debate reaches a fever pitch, it’s worth examining the pros and cons of doing business in Mexico.

Darren: Lidl took some time before they got established here in Scandinavia, but now they growing.

I like Darjeeling and Yunnan too.

I look forward to hear your thoughts about Nilgiri. I have a story to share about this tea region.

All the Best,

Martin

Darren: Lidl is a good source for preppers, e.g., their pickled cornichons.

I am drinking a black tea from Nilgiri, India, right now.

What kind of tea did you bring from China?

Cheers!

All the Best,

Martin

There's a Lidl a short walk from my home. Most American groceries have too many choices. I like the Lidl/Aldi model of small groceries with fewer choices.

Darjeeling is great. Years ago when I last bought it, they were all so expensive, but the 1st flush from the Makaibari Estate was not too expensive, but it was amazingly delicious.

My favorite Chinese tea is Yunnan Black. It has long leaves, and since they are covered with a golden fuzz, the tea leaves look golden. The liquid tea is a bit of a lighter flavor than most other black teas as well.

Nilgiri? I never tried it. I'll buy some this week and try!

Right now it's a cheap English Breakfast from Lidl. It actually tastes decent for a tea bag tea. Unfortunately I already drank all of my good black leaf tea I brought with me back from China. :'(

You?

Darren: Is it common of doing business in Mexico, from companies from outside the North American market?

Mexico has very favorable trade policies with many countries around the world, so companies from around the world set up manufacturing plants in Mexico with the purpose of exporting. So yeah, Mexico can represent a great opportunities for countries around the world but especially for the USA, since they're next door neighbors.
